Pega Platform Senior Tech Lead Deloitte

The Pega Platform Tech Lead is responsible for defining, governing, and overseeing enterprise solutions built on the Pega Platform, with a strong emphasis on Constellation-based architecture and API-driven experience delivery.

The role ensures that Pega (Cloud v25+) is positioned as a cloud-native workflow and decisioning platform, where case management, rules, and orchestration remain within the platform, while user experiences are enabled through APIs. The architect provides technical leadership to for the PEGA stream to ensure scalability, maintainability, and long-term platform sustainability and needs to work with other technical streams to ensure alignment across the technical stream is established

Pega Platform & Constellation Architecture

Define and govern end-to-end architectures for solutions built on the Pega Platform, aligned with Constellation architectural principles

Establish standards for UI and experience decoupling, leveraging:

DX APIs for experience delivery

Constellation APIs for Constellation-based channels and componentsbr>

Design scalable case management and workflow solutions using native Pega capabilities

Define architectural patterns for:

Case life cycles and work orchestration

Rule reuse and application layering

Channel-agnostic and API-driven experience models

API-Driven Experience Enablement (DX & Constellation APIs)

Define and govern the use of DX APIs and Constellation APIs as core mechanisms for exposing Pega capabilities to consuming channels

Ensure correct and consistent usage of APIs based on channel type and architectural intent

Guide teams on:

Selecting between DX APIs and Constellation APIs appropriately

Designing clean, stable, and consumer-friendly API contracts

Managing payload structure, performance, and data exposure

Ensure that consuming channels remain loosely coupled and insulated from platform specific internals

Platform Governance & Quality

Act as the architectural authority for Pega Platform and Constellation adoption

Enforce adherence to:

Pega guardrails and platform best practices

Constellation and API-driven architecture principles

Overall solution design

Review and approve application designs, case models, integration approaches, and API usage in addition to code reviews

Identify and mitigate risks related to performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability

Integration & Data Strategy

Define integration patterns between the Pega Platform and external enterprise systems

Ensure clear separation between:

Pega-managed workflow and decision data

Enterprise systems of record

Govern the use of data pages, caching strategies, and integration services within a managed platform context

Ensure all integrations and APIs comply with enterprise security, privacy, and compliance requirementsbr>
