Planning Director Tier 1 Construction Firm

Responsibilities:

• Lead planning strategy across multiple major projects
• Develop and manage integrated master programmes
• Oversee critical path, risk analysis, and recovery planning
• Implement advanced planning tools (P6, EVM, 4D)
• Manage planning for complex, high-end developments
• Interface with clients, consultants, and senior stakeholders
• Drive reporting, performance tracking, and governance
• Build and lead high-performing planning teams

Requirements:

• 18+ years experience in major construction projects
• 10+ years' experience in a leadership/management position in Planning
• Proven track record delivering luxury residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments
• Demonstrated delivery experience in Tier-1 contractors or developers operating to international standards
• Demonstrated delivery experience in mature, highly regulated construction markets (e.g. UK, Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand)
• Strong grounding in international planning methodologies, controls, and reporting standards
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and related tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in complex, multicultural environments

Preferred:

• Background in mature, highly regulated construction markets
• Experience with Tier-1 contractors or developers
• Exposure to complex, design-led flagship developments
