Role Summary

The Planning Engineer Dubai, UAE will support Parsons Corporation in overseeing scheduling, forecasting, and progress monitoring for major RTA infrastructure projects. The role requires expertise in project controls, Primavera P6, and risk analysis to ensure timely completion of complex works such as highways, interchanges, bridges, and utilities. This position demands strong analytical skills, the ability to manage project risks, and effective communication with contractors, consultants, and clients.

What You ll Do

• Review and validate contractors baseline schedules in accordance with contract terms and Parsons best practices
• Develop and manage master schedules integrating multiple project packages and interdependencies
• Identify risks, conflicts, and delays; document them in the project risk register and recommend mitigation measures
• Perform What if analysis for time impact assessments of changes and variations
• Prepare detailed monthly progress reports and presentations highlighting milestones, risks, and recovery plans
• Assess contractor claims including Extension of Time and Disruption using delay analysis methods
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to finalize programs, schedules, and claims
• Conduct coordination meetings and prepare concise minutes to track critical issues
• Establish progress measurement systems and performance indicators for effective monitoring
• Issue delay notices and performance letters to contractors when required
• Lead and mentor junior planning engineers in project controls and scheduling practices
