Planning Engineer

• Collect, verify, and integrate work scope for all entities into the total project plan pre- and post-contract with input from the Project Manager.
• Provide timely and complete updates of project schedules to determine contractor performance and compliance with approved baseline.
• Prepare project schedule analysis and conduct studies of problem areas to identify critical activities.
• Develop baseline micro schedules and monthly projections for tracking and monitoring.
• Analyze and report productivity of resources consumed.
• Select appropriate techniques and sequence of events for each project.
• Present schedules of work using visual aids such as bar charts and procedure diagrams.
• Monitor progress throughout the construction process and compare with projected schedules using planning software.
• Coordinate with site personnel/engineers for timely completion of projects within budget.
• Facilitate coordination between departments such as Contracts, QS, Purchasing, Estimation, Subcontractors, and Site.
• Prepare early warning systems like procurement schedules and information release schedules.
• Determine manpower, material, and equipment requirements for the project.
• Prepare cause-and-effect analysis for EOT (Extension of Time) claims.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System procedures.
