الأدوار والمسؤوليات

The Platform QA & Automation Lead is responsible for defining and implementing test automation strategy and quality engineering practices for platforms and digital solutions. The role ensures scalable, automated, and efficient testing across the development lifecycle, improving quality, speed, and reliability of releases. This role promotes a shift-left and automation-first approach to quality across the organization. QA & Automation Strategy

  • Define the platform QA and test automation strategy and roadmap.

  • Establish automation standards, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Promote quality engineering and shift-left testing culture.


Test Automation Implementation

  • Design and oversee automated testing across:

  • API and integration testing

  • UI and end-to-end testing

  • Regression and performance testing

  • Ensure automation coverage across CI/CD pipelines.


CI/CD & DevOps Integration

  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams.

  • Ensure automated quality gates before releases.


Quality Metrics & Continuous Improvement

  • Define automation KPIs and quality metrics.

  • Monitor test coverage, execution results, and defect trends.

  • Identify improvement opportunities and optimize frameworks.


Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor QA and automation engineers.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams.

  • Promote best practices in testing and automation.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

    Experience:

    • 8–12+ years in QA or test automation roles

    • Experience leading automation initiatives and teams

    • Experience in Agile and DevOps environments

    Preferred Certifications:

    • ISTQB Advanced / Test Automation certifications

    • Agile/Scrum certifications (advantage)

    Typical Previous Roles:

    • Automation Test Lead, QA Lead, Quality Engineering Lead, SDET Manager.

      Preferred Tools

      • Automation: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium

      • API & Performance Testing: Postman, RestAssured, JMeter

      • CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps

      • Tracking & Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams

      • Reporting: Power BI, Advanced Excel
