Key Responsibilities & Authorities

• Producing and repairing Polyurethane products using different molds.
• Should be well aware about PU (chemical) Raw materials, TDS, MSDS and PU procedure.
• Adequate knowledge required about Chemical processing and storage as well.
• Secure the raw material stock for PU production on quarter basis and also calculate and maintain the raw material stock for minimum six months.
• Ensure all standard spare parts stock is maintained for PU machine/Oven in the workshop and able to trouble shoot the machines whenever required.
• Prepare plans daily, weekly and monthly for PU production.
• Adequate knowledge of drafting software like Auto-Cad/ZWCAD to draw and print templates for drilling/cutting PU products.
• Testing tools, dies, jigs or Molds to ensure proper operation.
• Setting up and operates casting machines, curing oven to cast polyurethane products along with other supporting machines like drill/lathe machine for finalizing the products as per documents.
• Should physically fit to handle heavy duty PU molds and Polyurethane finished products to place in/out at Curing oven operating at 100 C.
• To read and interpret machine operation and maintenance manuals and ability to rectify errors on time. Maintain PU/Oven/Drilling/Lathe machines spare parts on annual basis.
• To achieve monthly production goals while maintaining an acceptable attendance hour to production ratio.
• Position, secure, measure, and work polyurethane stock or castings to lay out for machining.
• Assure the delivery of finished products on time with the approval of quality department.
• Lay outs, shapes and assembles patterns of plastic and other materials from blueprints, models or template

Skills/Experience:

• Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical or Intermediate.

Preferred: educational courses related to elastomers and mechatronics.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Polyurethane production environment.

Preferred: Molding/Casting experience in Discs, cups, wheels, foam pigs manually and by machine.

• Fluency in the English language, working knowledge of other languages is a plus
