Expected:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• At least 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects Design from Conceptual stage to Detailed Design Stage.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience as Principal Engineer position for a Major Greenfield/Brownfield Project FEED/Detailed Design (Specifically ADNOC Projects)
• Experienced in coordination of the satellite office teams and managing the productivity and quality
• Hands-on experience in industry software, such as STAAD Pro Connect Edition, Mat 3D, Foundation 3D, PROKON, 3D Model Review Tools (SPR & Navis Works), MS Office Suite, etc.
• Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, multi-tasking and flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team environment
• Able to communicate in English both in verbally and writing with other disciplines & multinational work forces in effective manner
• Knowledge of engineering work planning and control methods
• Knowledge of inter-discipline coordination
• Knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved

• Develop Civil & Structural design from the Conceptual Stage through the Detailed Design Stage, providing sustainable and efficient solutions
• Involve in the Design and Development of the following for Greenfield and/or Brownfield large Oil and Gas Projects
• Establish Design Basis, technical specifications/philosophies, work scope/tender documents/narratives
• Review design of Plant layouts, roads, drainage systems, Grading Layouts, Sizing of FFI, Pond etc
• Checking Calculations, General Arrangement, Detail Drawings, 3D Models and MTO
• Guide/review design of different types of concrete and steel structures and develop engineering calculations for
  • Structures like Pipe racks/ Pipe bridges, Sleepers
  • Process structures/Equipment support structures
  • Equipment foundations such as Heat Exchangers, Vertical & Horizontal Vessels/drums, Columns/ Towers, very large Tanks, Spheres, etc.
  • Dynamic load structures of Compressor & Pumps
  • Equipment Shelters, Plant Buildings like Control Room, Substation buildings, Admin blocks, Site Camps,
  • Blast resistance design of Buildings and Structuresbr>
• Review and interpretation of Topographical and Geotechnical reports
• Review and Design of UG services design (CWS, AOC, COC, Sanitary, Road, Grading works etc.) , Architectural Design, Modularization Design, and Prefabricated buildings
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., BS, AISC, ACI, ASCE, Client Specifications, ADNOC Standards and Specifications)
• Evaluate supplier/subcontractor technical bids for compliance to internal & client specifications and scopes of work
• Review of vendor drawings/other discipline drawings for adequacy of Civil design input requirements
• Optimize design solutions to meet budget constraints without compromising quality and safety
• Prepare & Review Civil materials technical reports, Method statements, and Vendor Technical Clarifications and prepare Technical Bid Evaluation reportsbr>
