Product Engineer

The Technical Product Engineer is responsible for the technical monitoring of the product throughout its entire lifecycle, from the development phase to the end of production. They ensure the product's compliance with technical, quality, cost, and delivery requirements, while also acting as the interface between the various departments (Design Office, Industrialization, Production, Quality, Customers, Suppliers). 

Main tasks:

• Manage the technical development of the product in accordance with the specifications.
• Analyze and validate the technical choices (design, materials, processes)
• Ensure product conformity with standards, customer specifications and regulatory requirements
• Participate in design reviews and product validation phases
• Monitor the qualification, validation and characterization tests
• Analyze test results and propose corrective actions if necessary.
• Providing technical support to the industrialization, production and quality teams
• Address product non-conformities and conduct root cause analyses
• Leading or contributing to product FMEAs
• Managing product evolutions (technical modifications, continuous improvements)
• Ensure feedback from field experience and customers
• to be the technical interface with customers and suppliers
• Write the technical documentation (technical files, calculation notes, test reports)

Skills and knowledge required

Comp tences techniques :

• Knowledge of mechanics / electromechanics / electronics (depending on the product)
• Reading and understanding technical plans and diagrams
• Mastery of product development methods
• Knowledge of product testing, validation and qualification
• My mastery of quality tools (FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, QQOQCCP)
• Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis (SPC, Minitab, Six Sigma)
• Use of IT tools and PLM/ERP (SAP, Office Suite, CAD tools depending on context)
