Your mission

Based in Casablanca, the Project Accounting Manager (3-5 years of experience) will be responsible for the financial and accounting management of CAPEX projects. They will oversee the purchasing, invoicing, compliance, and validation processes, while playing a key coordinating role between the teams based in Morocco and those located in Europe. This position requires strong financial acumen, advanced analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

1. Management of purchase requests and change orders
  • Collect and coordinate essential data from the CAPEX team to generate the inputs necessary for the creation of supplier contracts, POs and exchange orders.
  • Verify that purchase requests comply with CAPEX standards and project accounting rules.
2. Management of the Goods Received / Invoice Received process
  • Set up and manage internal workflows to retrieve validation of supplier invoice compliance.
  • Check the accuracy and consistency of invoices: billing information (Bill to), PO number, hours/quantities, amounts
  • Manage data in SAP (ARIBA / IVT) to facilitate the automation of approval workflows and ensure timely payment.
  • Analyze and resolve pending or blocked invoices (duplicates, errors, inconsistencies).
3. International coordination
  • To ensure operational liaison between the team based in Morocco and the teams located in Europe.
  • Facilitating exchanges, ensuring process consistency and ensuring the smooth flow of accounting and financial validations.
Your profile
  • Master's degree (BAC+5) in project management, finance, accounting, purchasing or equivalent field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project accounting, CAPEX finance or project management control.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent mastery of Microsoft Excel and financial tools.
  • Confirmed knowledge of SAP , particularly ARIBA / IVT .
  • Excellent communication and inter-team coordination skills.
  • Skills in VBA or Python appreciated.
