Job Description

about the Job
An experienced Project Estimator specializing in civil, finishing, and MEP works, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and BOQs based on drawings and specifications. The role includes analyzing material, labor, and subcontractor costs, coordinating with suppliers, supporting tender submissions, and assisting the project team with cost control, variations, and budget management while ensuring compliance with project requirements and timelines.


what you will do?

Prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs for civil, architectural/finishing, and MEP works

Study tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents

Perform quantity take-offs for concrete, steel, masonry, finishes, and MEP services

Analyze materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs

Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations

Prepare tender pricing, cost breakdowns, and commercial submissions

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams

Identify cost risks, value engineering options, and savings

Update estimates based on design changes and variations

Assist in budget control and cost monitoring during project execution

Maintain cost databases and historical pricing records

Ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements


what you will need?

Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering

Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials

Good understanding of local market rates and suppliers

Proficient in Excel, estimation software, and AutoCAD

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines

Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
