Proposal Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, technical specifications, and scope documents to evaluate client requirements.
• Perform thermal load calculations using HAP, Coolselector, or equivalent tools.
• Select refrigeration components and design system layouts for Freon- and Ammonia-based solutions.
• Prepare cost estimates covering equipment, materials, labor, and contingencies.
• Obtain and compare vendor quotations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Draft technical documentation: narratives, P&IDs, isometric layouts, and schematics.
• Conduct technical presentations and clarify proposal scope to clients.
• Incorporate feedback to align proposals with client expectations.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to validate proposal feasibility.
• Recommend energy-efficient systems and ensure compliance with industry and environmental standards.
• Maintain records, prepare management reports, and develop proposal templates.
