Fourth Dimension Group is a subcontractor supporting major Oil & Gas projects in Qatar and UAE. Our scope includes mechanical and piping construction works such as fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, pre-commissioning, and site execution coordination with the main contractor.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QC Engineer – Mechanical & Piping with strong Oil & Gas background to oversee quality control activities within our subcontract scope. The candidate must ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements during fabrication, installation, testing, and pre-commissioning activities.

Project Scope

Mechanical and piping construction works for Oil & Gas projects, including fabrication, installation/erection, hydrotesting, pre-commissioning activities, and overall site execution supervision in coordination with the main contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and ITPs

• Conduct inspection of piping fabrication and erection activities

• Monitor fit-up, welding, NDT, hydrotesting, and reinstatement works

• Ensure compliance with ASME B31.1 / B31.3 and project standards

• Coordinate with client inspectors and main contractor QA/QC teams

• Prepare and review inspection reports and documentation

• Verify material certificates (MTC), WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications

• Participate in punch list clearance and mechanical completion

• Ensure all quality records and dossiers are properly maintained
