Validates and approves the analysis results of raw materials upon their arrival in the store, products in progress and finished products.

• Informs his hierarchical superior in order to reject the raw material upon receipt or to stop production if the materials or products do not conform to official standards, or if there are interactions between the different components.
• Supervises the tests carried out by chemists working under his authority, who are required to verify and evaluate the quality and compliance with the relevant regulations.
• Ensures the diffusion of the active ingredient in the body and searches for possible impurities in the raw materials or degradation products by testing the product under extreme conditions.
• Verifies the reliability of raw data, analyzes trends and proposes corrective or preventive and/or improvement actions.
• Ensures strict compliance with GMP and GLP, and HSE rules within the laboratory.
• Ensures the metrological monitoring of control equipment.
• Establishes and monitors the effective application of the directives, rules, operating methods and procedures in force for the laboratory's activities.
• Ensures proper management of stocks of reagents, culture media and laboratory consumables.
• Participates in the development of action plans, their implementation and their monitoring.
• Detects and reports all anomalies and proposes corrective and/or preventive actions.
• Develops, maintains and distributes to various users the documentation relating to the specifications.
• Directs and coordinates the various activities of the laboratory.
• D defines action programs designed to improve the laboratory's performance and implements measures to achieve greater efficiency in the activity.
• Signs the analysis reports and ensures their transmission.
