Reefer Technician T2

Key Responsibilities

1. DT Unit Installation

• Assist in positioning and mounting DT units on reefer vehicles, ensuring proper alignment.
• Connect electrical and fuel systems under guidance, and check for leaks or incorrect routing.
• Perform post-installation quality checks under supervision.

2. Servicing DT Units

• Conduct routine maintenance (e.g., cleaning air filters, inspecting belts, checking fuel lines).
• Identify simple issues like leaks or loose parts and report them to senior technicians.

3. Tool and Equipment Usage

• Properly handle hand tools (wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers).
• Learn the basics of safe operation of drills, grinders, and other power tools.

4. Health and Safety

• Follow company safety protocols during installation and maintenance work.
• Conduct basic safety checks on tools and work environment before starting tasks.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Basic understanding of refrigeration and electrical systems.
