Job Responsibilities

Executive / Technical (Directly related to the work environment):

• Installation of Refrigeration Units
• Expert in positioning and mounting DD units on reefer vehicles.
• Proficiency in electrical and refrigeration system connections of DD, DT, and TRL Units.
• Ensure correct installation of fuel systems and routing for DT Units.
• Conduct alignment, mounting, and connection of trailer refrigeration units.
• Servicing & Maintenance
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics for DD, DT, and TRL Units.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal operation.
• Identify and resolve common refrigeration and cooling faults.
• Repair & Troubleshooting
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical failures.
• Replace major components (compressors, evaporators, condensers).
• Repair and calibrate diesel fuel systems.
• Commissioning & Calibration
• Conduct performance testing and optimization.
• Calibrate control systems for energy efficiency.
• Validate unit integration and post-repair functionality.
• Technical Knowledge & Safety Compliance
• Follow strict refrigerant handling and safety protocols.
• Master basic refrigeration cycle and charge management.
• Conduct advanced sensor calibration and electrical diagnostics.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum 6 years in Carrier unit maintenance.

Knowledge Requirements:

Proficient in using hand and power tools.

Solid understanding of reefer systems and refrigeration principles.

Certificates / Licenses:

Valid driver s license. Is a must

Technical Competencies:

Servicing Carrier DD, DT, and TRL reefer units.

Knowledge in refrigeration load balancing and calibration.

PLC-controlled systems, VFD configuration, and fault analysis.

Diesel engine servicing and fuel system expertise.
