Key Responsibilities 1. Policies & Procedures
  • Recommend improvements to departmental policies and support the implementation of procedures and internal controls.

  • Ensure effective implementation and compliance with group policies and standard procedures across all service locations.

2. Service Operations Management
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple service centers to ensure consistent service delivery.

  • Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all locations.

  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, company policies, and industry regulations.

  • Manage warranty processes, technical escalations, and overall service quality assurance.

3. Performance & Efficiency Optimization
  • Analyze service center KPIs, including revenue, productivity, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce service cycle time, and increase profitability.

  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to evaluate workshop performance.

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to optimize workflow.

4. Customer Satisfaction & Service Excellence
  • Ensure high standards of customer service across all service centers.

  • Monitor customer feedback and collaborate with complaint resolution teams to address escalated issues.

  • Implement customer retention initiatives such as service promotions and loyalty programs.

  • Enhance service advisor capabilities through training to improve customer engagement and service recommendations.

5. Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop service managers and technical teams within the assigned region.

  • Ensure continuous training for service staff on new vehicle technologies and service best practices.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and leadership development initiatives.

6. Financial & Budget Management
  • Monitor regional service center budgets, operational expenses, and revenue targets.

  • Coordinate with finance teams to ensure cost control and profitability optimization.

  • Review service pricing structures and recommend strategic pricing adjustments.

7. Parts & Inventory Coordination
  • Ensure optimal spare parts availability to support efficient service operations.

  • Coordinate with parts teams to minimize inventory shortages and service delays.

  • Monitor parts consumption trends and recommend inventory level adjustments.

8. Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all service centers.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and enforce best practices in workplace safety.

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation and safety improvement plans for service operations

  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in service management or a similar role, preferably in a regional capacity.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in presenting to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution.
  • Proficient in data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Experience with budgeting and managing financial performance.
  • Ability to travel as required within the region.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience with resource allocation and workforce planning.
