Scope of Service: L-16 Surgical Oncology Unit (KACO&LD)
No. of Beds: 30

Level 16 Surgical Oncology Unit is specifically designated to Adult General Surgery to include Hepatobiliary & Breast & Endocrine Surgery patient, Transplant Hepatology, and, Liver & Kidney Transplant Donors. The majority of patients have malignant disease requiring complex diagnostic work-up, major complex surgery or treatment follow-up. The unit has a designated Physical Therapist, Patient Relations Representative, Social Worker and Dietitian. The unit also has a procedure room for minor procedures like PICC line insertions, paracentesis and chest tube insertion.
