1 Gathering information and news from various sources, such as press conferences, interviews, and field coverage.

2 Preparing and drafting radio reports in a clear and professional style that suits the nature of radio broadcasting.

3 Conducting interviews with public figures, officials, and experts to provide comprehensive media coverage.

4 Transmitting live events from the scene and preparing real-time reports that reflect ongoing developments.

5 Collaborating with the editorial team and journalists to ensure the accuracy and credibility of the news before it is broadcast.

6 Following breaking news and responding quickly to developments on the ground.

7 Using modern technological means to gather news and prepare audio reports.

Specialized tasks

1 A field reporting system that is appropriate to the nature of the radio station, whether it is news, cultural, sports or economic.

2 Verifying the accuracy of news and information before publishing or broadcasting it, in accordance with journalistic standards.

3 Dealing with logistical and technical challenges during field coverage to ensure a smooth and professional broadcast.

4 Employing voice-over and good delivery skills to ensure that information is conveyed in an attractive and professional manner.

5 Using broadcasting equipment such as microphones, recording devices, and live transmission with high efficiency

6 Adherence to the editorial policies and ethical standards of the media organization.

7 To be a substitute for both program and news presenters when needed

8 Performing any other job-related tasks as required by the Senior Radio Manager
