With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the Resort s success, and your role goes beyond developing meaningful relationships with our guests and colleagues. As a Restaurant Hostess, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while ensuring a seamless dining experience for every guest. You will oversee the reservation and seating flow, maintain excellent guest engagement, and ensure that service runs efficiently while adhering to our company s core values. This role involves managing reservations, coordinating guest seating, supporting special events, and supervising the smooth day to day operations at the restaurant entrance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Manage reservations, walk ins, and waiting lists efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and service flow.
• Maintain an organized and updated reservations system.
• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the service and kitchen teams.
• Answer telephone inquiries regarding reservations, menu details, and restaurant policies.
• Support the service team during peak hours as needed.
• Ensure the hostess stand, entrance area, and menus are always clean and presentable.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
• Assist in coordinating special events, group bookings, and VIP arrangements.
• Uphold company grooming standards and act as an ambassador for the restaurant s brand.
• To assist with any other duties that are required by the member of the management team.

A suitable candidate should have 1 2 years of experience in an upscale 5-star hotel or resort restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food & beverage service standards is essential. The candidate should possess excellent personal presentation, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with a high profile and diverse clientele. She must be a dynamic team player, committed to delivering the highest level of guest service and creating a welcoming first impression. Excellent communication skills in English are required, and proficiency in an additional language will be highly regarded.
