Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute monthly or bi-monthly compliance review schedules using standardized operational and financial audit checklists.
• Conduct compliance assessments across business units, identifying potential risks, deviations, and control weaknesses.
• Report findings and recommendations to the Finance Manager, Compliance Manager, and relevant Operations leadership for corrective action.
• Monitor reporting accuracy and timeliness across departments, ensuring compliance with internal deadlines and standards.
• Support investigations into non-compliance or irregularities and document outcomes for management review.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to address gaps, implement preventive measures, and track remediation progress.
• Assist in developing and rolling out new compliance initiatives and policies aligned with Majid Al Futtaim Group s governance framework.
• Conduct on-site compliance visits across UAE business units, providing guidance and hands-on support where needed.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all compliance reviews and reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency through better controls and standardization.
• Support risk management activities by identifying key operational and financial risk indicators.
• Ensure high standards of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism in all compliance interactions.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification in compliance or risk management (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, internal audit, operations, or finance within a structured organization.
• Strong understanding of governance principles, internal control systems, and UAE regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and reporting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of engaging across all levels of the business.
• High ethical standards with a commitment to integrity and accountability.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments in fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to travel for site audits and reviews across UAE locations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) preferred.
