Safety Officer / Executive SHJ, ENVIRONMENT CO, LLC - BEE'AH

The incumbent is responsible for inspecting the operations sites and report the unsafe practices to QHSE Manager in line with company safety policy, client requirements and company safety procedures, in order to ensure safe working environment and legal compliance in terms of HSSE.

Accountabilities:

• Assist HSE Manager in identifying the hazards and implementation of control measures. • Monitors the compliance of all employees with the requirement of client safety policy and company safety procedures. • Conduct mock drills. • Inspection of fire extinguishers as per the schedule. • Safety supervision of manual and mechanical washing in main roads. • Perform HSE inspections on daily basis in workshop, parking lot, yard, office and raise any non conformities related to safety and follow up until corrective actions are taken. • Conducts Inspection on contractor’s activities who work inside Bee’ah premises. • Conducts HSE Inspection inside camp / labor accommodations and facilities inside camp such as kitchens / dining halls and ensures conformity to safety standards. • Assist HSE Manager in preparing incident investigation reports and ensure that all incidents and hazards are reported in a timely manner. • Maintain the HSSE records and prepare weekly and/ or monthly HSSE statistics and performance reports. • Plan, Perform and record quarterly OHSE inspections of static and moving equipment and power tools. • Follow up with hospital / health authorities on work related accident cases and provided required assistance to the injured employees while on treatment. • Supervise, monitor, and manage the security guards and office facilities team. • Follow up with Insurance companies on workmen compensation claims. • Perform OSHE Internal audits as and when required and advised by the HSE Manager. • Provides HSSE Induction for new joiners & visitors. • Conducts HSE related toolbox talks & trainings as and when necessary. • Performs work activities in different shift timings, as per the requirements, including night shifts when required.

Health & Safety • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and safeguard their own safety and health, as well as that of anyone who may be affected by their actions or omissions at work. • Refrain from being under the influence of any intoxicating substances to the point where they pose a risk to themselves or others while on the job. • Ensure compliance with the company’s Health & Safety policy & procedures. • Provide cooperation to the company’s practices regarding safety, health, and welfare at work. • Not to engage in any improper conduct that could endanger his / her own safety and health or that of anyone else. • Participate in HSE training offered by the company.

• Make proper use of all machinery, tools, substances, etc. and PPEs provided for use at work. • Promptly notify the immediate supervisor/manager/HSE representatives of any near-miss incidents, accidents, work-related injuries, or potential safety hazards, such as defects in tools or equipment, that may endanger the safety and health of individuals at the workplace. • Be familiar with the work site emergency and evacuation procedures and evacuation routes.
