Safety Technician (OFFSHORE)

To conduct inspection of safety, firefighting, and lifesaving equipment as per the offshore equipment preventative maintenance program. Conduct inspections and audits of activities associated with the development, operation, and maintenance of the Company’s offshore process facilities. Deliver offshore HSE induction for visitors, CONTRACTORs and new recruits. Carry role and responsibility of assigned emergency response role e.g., Emergency Response team member, Helicopter Landing assistance, Coxswain. (as per described list of SERVICES)

• Ensure that safety, firefighting and lifesaving equipment and facilities are inspected and kept in best working order.

• Inspection of BA equipment, fall protection equipment, gas monitors, lifeboats, fire extinguishers, PPE etc.

• Conduct Safety Induction, BA Training or other safety training as required.

• HSEQ Administrative Support e.g., maintaining induction, training or inspection records.

• Conduct Safety and PTW Audits and Inspections at Offshore facility and Report development.

• Perform industrial hygiene inspections and surveys with subsequent report development.

• Support incident investigation as required.

• Follow up on corrective actions or verifications.

• Carry responsibility of assigned emergency response role e.g., Emergency Response team member, Helicopter Landing assistance, Coxswain.
