Safety Trainer Engineer (HSE Trainer)

To develop, deliver, and manage health, safety, and environmental (HSE) training programs to ensure all employees and contractors comply with safety standards, regulations, and best practices, minimizing risks and incidents on site.

Training & Development

• Develop and deliver safety training programs for:

  • Site workers

  • Engineers

  • Supervisors

• Conduct:

  • Safety induction (new employees)

  • Toolbox talks

  • Specialized training (work at height, confined space, lifting, etc.)

  • Safety Awareness & Compliance

    • Promote strong safety culture across the project

    • Ensure compliance with:

      • Company HSE policies

      • Local regulations (Saudi Arabia)

    • Support implementation of safety procedures

      Assessment & Evaluation

      • Assess training effectiveness

      • Conduct exams and practical evaluations

      • Maintain training records and certifications

      Site Support

      • Work closely with HSE team on site

      • Identify training gaps based on:

        • Incidents

        • Near misses

      • Provide corrective training

      Documentation & Reporting

      • Maintain:

        • Training logs

        • Attendance records

        • Certification tracking

      • Prepare training reports for management

      Coordination

      • Coordinate with:

        • HSE Manager

        • Project Manager

        • Contractors and subcontractors

          Certifications (VERY IMPORTANT):

          NEBOSH (IGC or Diploma) ✔

        • OSHA Certification ✔

        • IOSH (Managing Safely / Train the Trainer) ✔

        • First Aid Certification (preferred)
