About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive – Distribution Sales To generate and maximize revenue through effective sales and services to existing clients, as well as identifying and developing new prospective clients within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support Operational Objectives

  • Support the implementation of short and long-term sales strategies in line with the company’s mission and vision.

  • Work in accordance with approved policies and recommend process improvements to enhance sales revenue and customer satisfaction.

2. Sales & Service

  • Identify new business opportunities by prospecting and evaluating market positions.

  • Work closely with management on product improvements and new product initiatives based on market trends.

  • Promote and sell company products within the assigned geographic territory through regular client visits, negotiations, and relationship building.

  • Coordinate internally with Finance for new client onboarding and credit limit setup.

  • Conduct regular client visits for invoicing and payment collection and hand over to Finance Department.

  • Liaise with clients to respond to queries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor customer orders and ensure timely delivery through coordination with Supply Chain.

  • Build strong client relationships and referral networks to attract new large clients.

3. Reporting & Internal Coordination

  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly sales reports and ad-hoc reports when required.

  • Take corrective actions based on feedback from management.

  • Coordinate internally with Marketing and Business Development teams to promote products locally and regionally.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales and customer information.

  • Ensure effective coordination with Supply Chain for timely service delivery.

Scope & Financials

  • Responsible for sales within the assigned sector and cross-functional support.

  • Sales targets and budgets as per assigned territory.

Working Environment

  • Field-based role with frequent travel within Abu Dhabi.

  • Interaction with clients, partners, vendors, architects, consultants, and distributors.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree (Graduation required).

  • Strong knowledge of products and competitive market environment.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Must have experience in Construction / Building Materials / Coatings / Paints industry.

  • Locally available in Abu Dhabi.

  • Immediate joining preferred.

Skills

  • Strong communication & negotiation skills.

  • Customer-oriented mindset.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • Familiarity with local market and language.

Preferred Background

Candidates who have worked in one of the following companies will be highly preferred:

Weber, Sabeto, Saint Gobain, AkzoNobel, Hempel, Terraco, Sika, Water Seal, Al Gurg, RAK Ceramics.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid UAE driving license.

  • Strong network within Abu Dhabi construction market is a plus.
