A leading logistics company in Saudi Arabia, with a strong global presence through over 1,200 network offices in 140 countries. The company specialises in end-to-end freight forwarding and logistics solutions for customers worldwide.

Position: Sales Manager / Sales Representative – Freight Forwarding
Location: Dammam/Riyadh/Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced sales professional from the freight forwarding industry to drive business growth and expand the client base. The role involves identifying and converting new customers, developing key accounts, and providing tailored logistics solutions (air and sea freight, import/export) in line with the company’s service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify and prioritise potential clients for freight forwarding and logistics services (air and sea, import/export).

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.

  • Generate new business through cold calls, client meetings, referrals and market intelligence.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, consignees, freight forwarders and other stakeholders.

  • Understand client requirements and offer customised logistics solutions in coordination with operations and pricing teams.

  • Negotiate rates, contracts and credit terms to maximise profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor market developments, competitor activities, trade lanes and industry trends.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (operations, documentation, finance) to ensure smooth execution of shipments and customer service.

  • Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates and forecasts using CRM/tools.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding/logistics industry is mandatory.

  • Strong understanding of ocean and/or air freight operations, import/export procedures and INCOTERMS.

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and building a client portfolio.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable with field/client-facing sales.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM software is an advantage.

  • Prior GCC / Saudi Arabia experience in freight forwarding sales is a must.

  1. Minimum 5–10 years of experience in freight forwarding / logistics sales (air and/or sea freight, import/export).

  2. Prior GCC / Saudi Arabia experience in freight forwarding sales is a must.

  3. Proven track record of achieving sales targets, generating new business, and managing key accounts in the logistics/freight forwarding industry.

  4. Strong understanding of ocean and/or air freight operations, trade lanes, INCOTERMS and export/import procedures.

  5. Existing customer network among shippers, consignees and traders in KSA / GCC will be a strong advantage.

  6. Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
