We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Export Operations Officer to join our logistics and freight forwarding team. This role focuses on managing export operations, providing sales support, and delivering excellent customer service within the international shipping industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with clients, agents, and carriers to ensure smooth export shipments, accurate documentation, and compliance with regulations. Strong communication and organizational skills, combined with operational expertise, will be essential to guarantee timely deliveries and create an outstanding customer experience that supports business growth.

Sales & Export Operations Specialist
Responsibilities:

Core responsibilities of an Export Operations Specialist include export shipment management, client follow-ups, coordination with carriers and agents, and supporting sales growth.

  • Prepare and send freight quotations for export shipments.
  • Follow up with clients on quotations, inquiries, and export sales leads.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, trucking providers, and overseas agents for bookings and export documentation.
  • Monitor export shipment schedules and update clients on cargo status.
  • Handle and resolve operational issues or discrepancies in export processes.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and verification of export documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, B/L, etc.).
  • Update the CRM & Pricing system with shipment details and customer information.
  • Support sales growth by targeting key export customers via LinkedIn and other channels.

Export Operations Specialist Qualifications & Skills:



Key qualifications and skills required for an Export Operations Specialist include export documentation knowledge, customs procedures, sales support, and strong client communication.

  • Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or Business.
  • 1 3 years of experience in export operations or the freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation, customs clearance, and Incoterms.
  • Excellent sales support, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM systems (Odoo preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments under pressure with high accuracy.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus
