Job Title: School Nutritionist (UAE Nationals)

Location: The Arbor School Dubai

Reports To: Head of Operations 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable School Nutritionist to support the health and wellbeing of our students. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting healthy eating habits, designing balanced meal plans, and providing nutritional guidance to students, staff, and parents. You will play a key role in ensuring that the school’s food services meet high standards of nutrition, safety, and quality, while contributing to an overall culture of wellness within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement nutritious and balanced meal plans in collaboration with the catering team, aligned with dietary guidelines and student needs.

• Monitor and evaluate the quality and nutritional content of meals served in the school cafeteria.

• Provide guidance and support to students, staff, and parents on healthy eating, dietary restrictions, and lifestyle choices.

• Conduct nutritional assessments and recommend interventions for students with special dietary needs or health concerns.

• Organize and deliver educational programs, workshops, and campaigns to promote healthy eating habits among students.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations across all school food services.

• Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and staff to integrate nutrition education into school programs and events.

• Maintain accurate records of meal plans, dietary requirements, and nutrition assessments.

• Participate in school events to promote wellness and healthy living initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent nutrition and dietary needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and nutrition.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a school or educational setting.

• Knowledge of local UAE dietary regulations and food safety standards.

• Experience developing nutrition programs or wellness initiatives.
