The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and committed SEND teacher to join our newly founded school. The role is due to start from August 2026. Candidates must be available from the mid August 2026 to commence employment.

United School International is the first and probably only school to be built on the Pearl, providing education for children within the local community. Because of its position, its beautiful architecture and facilities, The Pearl is one of the most desirable locations for both expatriate and local Qatar families in the city and is a rapidly growing and exciting place to live and work.

The successful candidate will be an experienced SEND practitioner able to play a key role in the development of students with Educational difficulties and those struggling to access the curriculum.

The school has a number of state-of-the-art facilities to support exceptional teaching including the latest touch screen technology, technology labs, art facilities and easy access to carefully landscaped indoor and outdoor play areas. Additional facilities at the school include a 450 seater auditorium/theatre, STEAM & robotics room, swimming pool, training pool, badminton, volleyball, tennis, basketball courts and a full size football pitch.

Be a qualified SEND specialist with previous experience within the UK curriculum.

Have good and collaborative team working skills.

Have excellent communicative skills with peers, parents and other stakeholders.

Have high quality teaching, and student learning and wellbeing at the heart of their decision making.

As a British International School specialising in providing the English National Curriculum to a diverse international student population, strong English language is an essential requirement and applications from strong speakers of English will be preferred.
