- Lead the discovery, architecture, and delivery of major hybrid infrastructure initiatives and complex systems.
- Design and advocate for significant architectural and infrastructure decisions impacting both cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and engineering needs.
- Set and enforce high standards for DevOps practices, best practices, and security principles across the team, leading by example.
- Mentor and coach DevOps Engineer I and II colleagues, providing deep technical guidance, fostering their growth, and leading strategic discussions on hybrid cloud strategy.
- Solve highly complex, ambiguous, and strategic infrastructure challenges that have a broad impact on the organization's products and services.
- Collaborate extensively with senior leadership, engineering, and product teams to define requirements, evaluate feasibility, and deliver robust, integrated solutions.
- Identify and address critical security threats, performance bottlenecks, and single points of failure across the entire infrastructure stack.
- Proactively identify, prioritize, and lead efforts to address technical debt and process inefficiencies in the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Research, evaluate, and propose new infrastructure strategies and technologies to improve the product offering and development processes.
- Act as a primary point of contact for complex, high-severity infrastructure-related incidents, leading diagnosis and resolution.
- Clearly and regularly communicate complex infrastructure strategies, trade-offs, and cost models to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين
- BS/BA, MS, or PhD equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a senior infrastructure role.
- Excellent experience in designing, building, and managing large-scale, high-availability infrastructure across both cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises environments, with deep expertise in container orchestration platforms like RKE2 and OpenShift.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP, TCP, UDP, etc.) and security concepts (Network Security, application security, cryptography).
- Solid understanding of the technical aspects of software development, system architecture, and how the Linux operating system works.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, including solving complex system problems and navigating business ambiguities in hybrid settings.
- Deep expertise and extensive experience in DevOps methodologies and frameworks (e.g., CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code).
- Expert knowledge and experience in defining infrastructure vision, strategy, and roadmaps for hybrid environments.
- Expert understanding of the end-to-end product development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of business principles, KPIs, and financial modeling related to infrastructure costs (e.g., CapEx vs. OpEx).
- Deep knowledge of the AI/ML industry and relevant market trends.
- Extensive experience in leading and facilitating cross-functional teams.
- Strong experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
