Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated infrastructure provisioning using ARM templates and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, while managing Azure RBAC, governance policies, subscription controls, and secure secrets management via Azure Key Vault.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments, integrating automated testing (unit/integration), security scans (SAST, SCA, DAST), quality gates, approvals, and compliance workflows.
• Configure and manage Azure Application Gateway, WAF policies, SSL termination, routing rules, and backend services, while strengthening security posture using Azure Defender (Defender for Cloud), vulnerability assessments, and managed identities.
• Develop containerized workloads using Docker and deploy/manage Kubernetes clusters on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including Helm charts, Ingress controllers, and secure cluster configurations.
• Implement and manage Azure PaaS services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, Azure SQL, and secure storage solutions including Blob lifecycle policies, SAS tokens, and private endpoints.
• Implement observability using Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics; develop dashboards and alerts using KQL; and optimize performance while ensuring cost-efficient resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and DevOps tooling using PowerShell, Bash, Python, and YAML to streamline operational efficiency and deployment processes.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Cloud environments.
• Expert-level experience in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, automated build/release processes, testing integration, and secure deployment strategies.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM templates), Azure RBAC, governance policies, and automated cloud provisioning.
• Deep experience configuring Azure Application Gateway, WAF, and Azure Defender (Defender for Cloud) for security posture management and threat detection.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Helm.
• Solid experience working with Azure PaaS services including Azure Storage, Azure SQL, API Management, Service Bus, and secure integration patterns.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, and YAML, with proven ability to design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.
