About the job
We are looking for a Senior GCP Engineer, with a Bac+5 and 5 - 7 years of experience, expert in the design, industrialization and deployment of scalable Cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
You will participate in the design, automation, optimization and security of modern Cloud environments, while contributing to the industrialization of CI/CD pipelines, to the implementation of Data solutions and to the integration of DevOps/SRE best practices.
Formation
Bac+5 / Master or engineering degree in Computer Science, Cloud Engineering, Distributed Systems or equivalent field.
Experience
- 5 - 7 years of experience in Cloud Engineering with strong expertise on GCP.
- Confirmed mastery of the following Cloud services:
- Compute Engine, Cloud Run, GKE
- Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub
- BigQuery, Cloud Storage
- Cloud SQL, Firestore, Memorystore
- IAM, KMS, Secret Manager
- Solid experience in Infrastructure as Code:
- Terraform (Advanced)
- Modules, Workspaces, CI/CD Terraform
- Very good practice of CI/CD pipelines:
- Cloud Build, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Experience with containerization:
- Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Helm
- Mastery of languages:
- Python (scripts, automations, Cloud jobs)
- Bash
- Go (appreciated)
Additional experience appreciated
- First experience in Tech Lead:
- Participation in architecture choices
- Code review / infra review
- Technical mentoring
- GCP certifications (Associate or Professional).
- Knowledge of Data or ML Ops environments (bonus).
