Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

* Review and provide engineering approval for contractor baseline schedules in accordance with contract requirements and Parsons planning standards
* Validate project resources and sequencing to ensure feasibility for timely delivery
* Develop integrated master schedules incorporating multiple project packages and interdependencies
* Review progress updates to detect potential delays, slippage, and critical-path risks, recommending mitigation measures
* Conduct What-If analysis and time-impact assessments for changes, variations, and events
* Prepare detailed monthly progress reports with schedule analysis, forecasts, and milestone evaluation
* Evaluate delay claims including EoT and disruption using accepted methodologies such as time-impact and window analysis
* Coordinate with contractors and employers to resolve planning issues and finalize programs and reports
* Participate in project meetings including kick-off, technical reviews, utilities coordination, and progress sessions
* Prepare tracking logs for design-stage and construction-stage critical issues
* Define and agree progress measurement systems and KPIs with consultants and contractors
* Provide analytical responses to contractor notices using scheduling logic and contract knowledge
* Maintain accurate and organized contemporary planning records
* Issue delay notices or formal communications regarding contractor performance when required

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in civil engineering or construction management
* Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for infrastructure works including roads, stormwater, sewer networks, and street lighting
* Proficiency in Primavera P6
* Strong English communication skills
* Thorough understanding of construction processes and industry regulations
* Experience with Aldar projects is advantageous
* Strong analytical, coordination, and reporting abilities
