Senior Laboratory Technician

Main tasks:

• Responsible for carrying out laboratory and in-situ tests and analyses and for monitoring and controlling related operations.

Duties (tasks and responsibilities):

• To take into account and communicate to one's hierarchy any risk that could compromise the exercise of one's activity, and to implement the appropriate actions in accordance with the guidelines.
• Prepare and test materials.
• Use the equipment and apparatus according to the instructions for use.
• Perform precision measurements on the equipment.
• Compile the data related to the test results and perform the initial analyses.
• Implement testing programs in accordance with applicable standards.
• To carry out or participate in the execution of soil and concrete quality assessment tests.
• To monitor the conformity of project implementation operations.
• Participate in employee training.
• Use and maintain laboratory equipment and apparatus and prepare samples of defined formula.
• To provide assistance to implementation projects and production structures.
• Quality control of concrete and/or asphalt mixes from the plant to their implementation.

In terms of QHSE:

• Respect and enforce the general safety instructions and rules in force within the company.
• Ensure the application of the procedures and rules dictated within the framework of the Integrated Management System.
• Wear and ensure the wearing of appropriate collective and individual protective equipment (CPE and PPE).
• Check the condition of the equipment and tools used and report any anomalies.
• To ensure the correct execution of the operations for which he is responsible...with professionalism, caution and in compliance with safety rules.
• Communicate any malfunction or relevant information related to the activity to your superiors.
