Key Responsibilities

• Identify strategic audit and risk priorities and proactively provide insights to address them with key stakeholders.
• Ensure risk assessment procedures are appropriately incorporated into audit planning, execution, and results evaluation.
• Contribute to audit scope and materiality discussions, ensuring coverage of all relevant areas aligned with industry trends and standards.
• Lead planning sessions with experts and specialists to integrate technical input and maintain professional skepticism across all audit phases.
• Coordinate and oversee group audits, evaluate responses from component auditors, and resolve complex audit-related issues.
• Drive robust audit testing procedures for key areas such as revenue recognition, fraud risk, and internal control reliance.
• Develop and review detailed project plans, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure engagement timelines and deliverables are achieved.
• Communicate audit plans and dependencies to client management, managing expectations regarding deadlines and engagement fees.
• Promote consultation in areas of complex judgment and ensure compliance with Deloitte s global quality control standards.
• Commit to continuous audit quality improvement by challenging methodologies and implementing global best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• MBA or Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in auditing or assurance, preferably within Big 4 firms.
• In-depth understanding of IFRS, International Auditing Standards, and financial reporting best practices.
• Proven leadership in managing complex audits, risk assessment, and client engagements.
• Professional qualification required: CA, ACCA, or CPA.
• Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; bilingual proficiency (Arabic/English) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and uphold audit quality and compliance standards.
