Senior Manager - Development Design & Engineering

Lead the design and engineering processes for Vertical Links systems, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with all project goals.

Collaborate with project stakeholders to define technical requirements and outcomes, effectively communicating design concepts and solutions.

Establish and maintain design standards and guidelines, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory frameworks.

Manage the procurement and oversight of consultants and contractors engaged in design and engineering activities, fostering efficient workflows and collaborative relationships.

Conduct design reviews and quality assurance checks, ensuring all deliverables meet both technical specifications and stakeholder expectations.

Monitor project progress, identifying potential design-related risks and implementing suitable mitigation strategies to adhere to project timelines and budgets.

Drive innovation by researching and integrating emerging technologies and practices in vertical transportation systems.

Maintain effective communication channels across project teams and departments, ensuring timely updates and seamless information sharing.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth and development in the field of design and engineering.

Engage in external networking and industry events to remain updated on trends, advancements, and challenges in vertical transportation engineering.

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Master s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in design and engineering of vertical transportation systems, with a focus on large infrastructure projects.
• Proven expertise in managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and projects.
• In-depth knowledge of vertical transportation standards, building codes, and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong project management skills with experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Familiarity with smart building concepts and sustainability practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a focus on team collaboration and mentorship.
• Ability to foster relationships with stakeholders and navigate complexities in a multi-faceted project environment.
