Senior Manager - MEP Electrical Engineer - Residential Delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of mechanical systems for residential projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical design processes from concept through to construction, including detailed design, shop drawing approval, and installation oversight.
• Guide and mentor the engineering team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional development.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including architects, structural teams, and external consultants to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry best practices.
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for mechanical engineering activities on residential projects.
• Promote health and safety standards in all engineering practices and project workflows.
• Engage in regular communication with project stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues related to mechanical engineering.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on MEP systems for residential projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in the design and management of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems specific to residential buildings.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing engineering teams effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of local construction codes, regulations, and industry practices relevant to residential mechanical engineering.
• Proficient in using engineering design software and tools to create accurate designs and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering teamwork across diverse groups.
