Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Optimization

• Develop and execute portfolio strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.

• Conduct regular portfolio reviews to optimize product mix based on profitability, volume, and market potential.

• Identify portfolio gaps, risks, and opportunities; recommend corrective and growth actions.

• Drive product rationalization decisions including relaunch, repositioning, or discontinuation.

Pipeline & New Product Evaluation

• Evaluate and recommend new product opportunities for domestic and export markets.

• Monitor pipeline timelines, regulatory pathways, and commercialization readiness.

• Support strategies around patent expiry, generic launches, and entry into new therapeutic segments.

Market & Commercial Intelligence

• Conduct market, therapeutic, and competitive analyses to identify growth trends.

• Provide inputs on pricing strategy, demand forecasting, and competitive positioning.

• Track revenue, profitability, and market share performance of portfolio products.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Business Units to prioritize and fast-track development.

• Support product launches and lifecycle management initiatives.

• Assist Business Development in evaluating licensing, co-marketing, and M&A opportunities.

Reporting & Governance

• Prepare periodic performance reports, forecasts, and strategic presentations for senior leadership.

• Support data-driven decision-making through insights and scenario analysis.
