Senior MEP AMC Engineer – Data Center Operations

Job Title: Senior MEP Facilities Engineer (AMC & Operational Execution)
Location: United Arab Emirates
Reporting To: Operations Manager (OM)

Job Summary:
The Senior MEP AMC Engineer acts as the technical "engine room" for the Operations Manager. This is a high-impact execution role responsible for the 24/7 reliability of all MEP systems. You will bridge the gap between the OM’s strategic goals and the technical labor force, ensuring that maintenance is executed without ever putting the Data Center’s "Up-Time" at risk.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Execution: Translate the Operations Manager’s directives into daily actionable tasks for the MEP staff.

• Labor & Staff Management: Directly command the site-based MEP technicians. You are responsible for their productivity, attendance, safety (PPE), and technical accuracy during high-stakes maintenance tasks.

• Local Authority & Compliance:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for DEWA / ADDC and UAE Civil Defense site visits.

  • Ensure all permits-to-work (PTW) are in place before any staff or vendor starts an activity.

• Vendor Performance Monitoring: Provide the OM with weekly performance scorecards for all AMC vendors. Ensure that contractors are not just "showing up" but are performing deep-level maintenance as per the contract.

• Real-Time Incident Management: In the event of an alarm (BMS/EPMS), lead the technical team in immediate troubleshooting and provide the OM with constant updates on "Time to Recovery."

• Inventory & Cost Control: Manage the site’s MEP spare parts stock to ensure zero delays in repairs while maintaining the budget set by the Operations Manager.
