1. About DEBRA
DEBRA is a conversational commerce platform built for Saudi Arabia s SME ecosystem, enabling merchants to sell through AI-powered chat and integrated logistics.
Key Platform Capabilities:
1- AI-powered multi-agent system (8 specialized agents)
2- ChatGPT-first e-commerce experience
3- Saudi cultural intelligence (prayer-time delivery logic, National Address validation, COD optimization)
4- End-to-end integrated logistics
5- Social commerce support (TikTok Shop, Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat)
2. Role Overview
The Senior Product Director will own DEBRA s entire product vision, strategy, and execution responsible for taking the platform from MVP to national and regional scale.
3. Key Responsibilities
  • 3.1 Strategic Leadership
  • Define and maintain the overall product vision and long-term strategy.
  • Develop and own the product roadmap aligned to company goals.
  • Position DEBRA as the leading SME enablement platform in KSA and GCC.
  • Represent DEBRA in the tech ecosystem, events, and strategic forums.
  • Collaborate with executives, investors, and government partners.
  • 3.2 Product Management
  • Lead full product lifecycle: discovery, scoping, design, development, testing, launch.
  • Prioritize product features using data, market insights, and merchant feedback.
  • Drive UX/UI standards and ensure world-class product quality.
  • Oversee integrations with logistics, payments, and social commerce platforms.
  • Ensure the platform meets reliability, scalability, and security requirements.
  • 3.3 Business & Growth
  • Define and optimize revenue models (subscriptions, transaction fees, value-added services).
  • Drive merchant acquisition through product-led growth strategies.
  • Improve retention, conversions, and overall platform engagement.
  • Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships and possible M&A opportunities.
  • Support fundraising efforts with product vision and strategic insights.
  • 3.4 Operational Excellence
  • Build and lead product, design, and engineering teams.
  • Establish KPIs, OKRs, and performance frameworks across teams.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with Saudi market requirements.
  • Improve unit economics through product and operational efficiencies.
  • Implement data analytics tools to enable product decisions.
  • 3.5 Culture & Organization
  • Promote DEBRA s values and culture across all teams.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop top product and engineering talent.
  • Encourage innovation, ownership, and customer obsession.
  • Foster an inclusive and diverse working environment.
  • Build a fast-paced, mission-driven product organization.

4. Required Qualifications
  • 8 15 years of experience in tech, e-commerce, logistics, or fintech.
  • 3+ years in a senior leadership role (Director, VP, GM, Head of Product).
  • Proven track record managing and scaling teams (20+ staff).
  • Strong understanding of Saudi market and regulatory environment.
  • Native or business-fluent Arabic.
5. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience at companies such as Careem, Noon, Jahez, Salla, Zid, Foodics, or similar.
  • Participation in Series A or later fundraising rounds.
  • Experience with marketplaces or two-sided platforms.
  • Knowledge of logistics, payments, or SME operations.
  • Strong relationships with Saudi investors or government entities.
6. Education
  • Bachelor s degree required (technical or business fields preferred).
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Graduates from top-tier Saudi, GCC, or international universities are valued.
