Senior Resident Engineer (Infrastructure & Roads)

Parsons is looking for a talented Senior Resident Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to manage the Construction Supervision of Infrastructure Project.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage the scope of engineering work, schedules, change management and closeout for the assigned project elements, and monitors progress to meet schedule and budget requirements. Identifies and documents changes in scope.

• Leading Construction supervision team for infrastructure works related to a high profile community development Project in Dubai.

• Coordinate with Authorities and Agencies for approvals and handing over of Project/services

• Interfaces with Contractor and subcontracts to facilitate compliance to the Contract and deliverables.

• Reviews work produced to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed and that quality is acceptable

• Reviews and approves change orders. Notifies project management and other affected personnel of all changes.

• Mange the Client's expectation and update the progress periodically

• Liaise with Authorities to ensure smooth execution and handing over of the Project

• Ensure that Parsons rights and obligations are fulfilled

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.

• Minimum 20+ years of overall work experience in construction supervision of infrastructure (including roads and utilities) projects within UAE.

• Recent and substantial work experience of community development projects is a must, preferably Dubai.

• Knowledge of NOC Procedures, Commissioning and various Government Authority specification & procedures in the emirate of Dubai is required.

• Good communication skills both written and spoken.

• Good technical knowledge and well versed with the standards and codes.

• Good computer skills and software proficiency in related field.

• Knowledge in construction health, safety and environment.
