Role Overview

The Senior SEO & GEO Strategist will analyze keywords, develop, and execute a content strategy for the client s subreddits. This role ensures that subreddit content ranks organically in Google, appears in Discussions & Forums snippets, and is optimized for LLM comprehension and AI-generated summaries. The position requires in-depth keyword and SERP analysis, content creation, and documentation of a repeatable process (SOP) for future clients.

Key Responsibilities

Keyword Research & SERP Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and SERP analysis to identify ranking opportunities specific to discussion-based content.
• Focus on:
• Keywords triggering discussion or forum results.
• Search intent suitable for Reddit-style content.
• Opportunities where subreddit posts can realistically rank.
• Use tools like SEMrush to identify high-value keywords, existing ranking threads, and content gaps.

Content Strategy & Optimization

• Develop a subreddit-specific content strategy based on keyword findings, search intent, and ranking patterns.
• Create and implement SEO-, GEO-, and LLM-optimized subreddit posts, including:
• Title structures aligned with search queries.
• Semantically rich, answer-oriented post bodies.
• Content formatted for both human readers and AI systems.
• Evaluate the impact of backlinks or external signals on subreddit rankings and provide implementation guidance.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Track and report on post-level performance, including rankings, visibility, and month-over-month trends.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Document the entire process into a clear, repeatable SOP, covering:
• Keyword research and analysis methodology.
• Content strategy framework.
• Post creation and optimization guidelines.
• Tracking, reporting, and iteration processes.
• Templates and best practices.
• Provide live or async walkthroughs to ensure effective knowledge transfer to the team.
