About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Sadie, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative AI powered call receptionist solutions tailored for the restaurant industry. Your expertise in both backend and frontend technologies will drive the creation of seamless, scalable, and efficient applications that enhance the customer experience. Leveraging your proficiency inTypeScript/Node.js, Python, and Next.js, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build robust systems on AWS, ensuring reliability and performance. Your role is pivotal in transforming cutting-edge AI technology into practical, user-friendly solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain: Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of Sadie s AI receptionist platform using Next.js, Node.js/Typescript and Python.
• AWS Integration: Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch to build scalable and reliable infrastructure.
• Logging and Monitoring: Implement and manage logging solutions to ensure application performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
• Coaching and mentoring: Support developers of all levels by performing code reviews, one on one coaching sessions, and leading by example.
• Knowledge sharing: Contribute to sharing knowledge within the organization by documenting best practices, presenting in live sessions, etc.
• Optimize Performance: Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and security to provide an exceptional user experience.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, testable and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Deployment and CI/CD: Manage deployment processes and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development workflows.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the smooth operation of our AI-driven solutions
