الأدوار والمسؤوليات

1. Leads and supervises experiments, interpreting and communicating results, and participating in the development of novel processes and procedures as needed.

2. Oversees day-to-day operations of the Laboratory/Core Facility such as work flow processes, managing the activities of core facility staff, and other related duties and tasks as required.

3. Ensures that instruments are maintained to the highest working standards, including regular hardware/software maintenance.

4. Implements and maintains quality control methods to assure high quality results.

5. Establishes and maintains up-to-date information pertinent to core facility policies, procedures, available technology, and scheduling.

6. Develops project scheduling, user policies, and pricing rates.

7. Provides training, instruction and assistance for users of the facility.

8. Follows all Hospital s related Policies and Procedures.

9. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.

10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين

Master s or Bachelor s Degree of Science from an accredited institution in a scientific discipline relevant to the research field is required.

Eight (8) years of related experience with Master s Degree or ten (10) years with Bachelor s Degree of directly related job experience required.

-Must be thoroughly familiar with methods and equipment. Past experience must be directly related. Demonstrated experience in a particular discipline.

-Evidence of excellent level of technical, managerial, communication and computer skills and accomplishments that need to be described and scored by his/her immediate supervisor in the Technical Scoring Form.

-Evidence of mentoring ability and supervisory skills to students, technical staff and even postdoctoral fellows.

-Proven records of presenting original data at least once in a national or international meeting.

-Proof of working knowledge in safety measures such as biological, radiological, and/or chemical in form of certificates. If not available, then a letter from the immediate supervisor stating the candidate working knowledge in the relevant field.
