Service Technician T4

To lead and support service teams in diagnosing and resolving high-complexity refrigeration challenges, focusing on Ammonia and Freon systems. Ensure efficient and effective troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of refrigeration equipment. Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and provide technical mentorship to junior technicians. Stay up to date on refrigeration technology to drive continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Executive / Technical Duties

• Diagnose and resolve advanced refrigeration issues, including refrigerant contamination, pressure imbalance, and electrical control failures.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring faults and propose corrective actions.
• Oversee Ammonia leak detection, non-condensable gas removal, and refrigerant purification.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble major components like compressors and heat exchangers.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities per service plans.
• Monitor refrigerant levels, oil conditions, and system pressures proactively.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with international and local regulations.
• Train junior technicians on system diagnostics, brazing, leak detection, and safety.
• Perform final inspection and startup of new systems, calibrating valves and balancing pressures.
• Validate system performance under variable loads using SCADA, data loggers, and reporting tools.
• Complete commissioning documentation and provide clients with operational and safety manuals.

Qualifications

Education

• Diploma in HVAC or Refrigeration Systems.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years

License

• Valid Driving License (mandatory)
