RESPONSIBILITIES

Network Operations and L2 Support

• Operate and maintain enterprise and cloud network environments including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers
• Provide advanced L2 troubleshooting for network incidents within approved procedures and runbooks
• Ensure network services meet availability and performance SLAs

Incident Handling and Escalation

• Investigate and resolve network incidents using structured troubleshooting methodologies
• Analyse logs and monitoring data to identify root causes within L2 scope
• Escalate complex or design-related issues to Team Lead and Technology & Innovation (COE)
• Provide accurate updates and documentation in incident tickets

Monitoring and Performance

• Monitor network health, availability, and performance using approved tools
• Identify recurring issues and performance trends
• Tune alerts and thresholds in coordination with Team Lead

Network Configuration and Maintenance

• Execute approved network configurations, patches, and maintenance activities
• Validate post-change stability and escalate engineering concerns to COE
• Support capacity growth and lifecycle activities from an operational perspective

Security Operations

• Implement and maintain network security controls as per operational standards
• Support investigation of network-related security incidents
• Escalate advanced security engineering issues to COE

Vendor Coordination

• Work with vendors for operational troubleshooting and support cases
• Provide complete diagnostics for vendor and COE escalations

Documentation and Knowledge Management

• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and troubleshooting guides
• Document incident resolutions and known issues
• Support operational best-practice development

Team Support and Knowledge Sharing

• Provide guidance and mentoring to Junior Network Specialists
• Share knowledge during incident reviews and operational discussions
