Key Responsibilities/strong>

Category Strategy & Ownership/strong>

  • Define and drive the mid- to long-term category strategy/strong> for the Horeca channel
  • Identify priority segments, channels, and customer groups based on market potential
  • Establish clear category positioning, value propositions, and growth roadmaps/strong>

Market Intelligence & Business Insights/strong>

  • Lead the development of data-driven insights/strong> on market size, trends, and competitive landscape
  • Act as the go-to expert/strong> for Horeca category intelligence within the organization
  • Translate insights into strategic recommendations and business opportunities

Portfolio & Brand Leadership/strong>

  • Own the category portfolio strategy/strong>, including product mix, gaps, and future needs
  • Work closely with product development and marketing teams to shape offerings aligned with market needs
  • Lead new product introduction strategy/strong> for Horeca (from concept to market readiness)

Commercial Planning/strong>

  • Develop annual and multi-year category plans/strong>, including volume, revenue, and growth targets
  • Define pricing logic, margin expectations, and investment priorities
  • Build business cases for new opportunities and strategic initiatives

Performance Management/strong>

  • Track and analyze category performance across key metrics (sales, share, profitability)
  • Continuously refine strategy based on performance and market evolution
  • Provide clear direction to the sales team on priorities and focus areas

Cross-Functional Leadership/strong>

  • Act as the bridge between strategy and execution/strong>, ensuring alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain
  • Provide the Horeca sales team with clear strategic direction, segmentation, and priorities/strong>
  • Support, but do not lead, market activation ensuring consistency with overall strategy

What We re Looking For/strong>

  • Bachelor s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Brand Management, Category Management, or Strategic Marketing/strong>
  • Strong experience in FMCG and/or HoReCa/Foodservice environments/strong>
  • Proven ability to build strategies from scratch and translate insights into growth plans/strong>
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to influence without direct authority (no direct reports initially)
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, evolving environment/strong>
