Structural Coordinator J10 Consulting FZ LLE

Our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client has a new requirement for 3 well experienced Structural Coordinators to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile new build projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Structural Coordinator with strong knowledge in RCC frames, structural steel and rebar working on high profile projects in the UAE with preference given to those with prior experience working for recognised Main Contracting Companies

This role is available for immediate joining and is hiring on a temporary to permanent basis as an initial 6 month contract position, outsourced through J10 Consulting, with the option to transfer to staff after 6 months to suit all parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing concrete shop drawings, Precast shop drawings, RFIs, Material submittals, coordination between all disciplines, liaising between consultant and detailer.
• A Structural Coordinator – Civil/Structural is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects related to the structural and civil engineering elements.
• Design Review and Coordination: Review structural and civil design drawings, specifications, and calculations for accuracy and compliance with project standards and codes. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other design consultants to resolve design issues.
• Shop Drawing and Document Approval: Review, approve, and coordinate concrete, and other structural shop drawings and fabrication drawings. Ensure drawings align with project requirements and specifications.
• Material and Equipment Management: Coordinate procurement of structural and civil materials such as concrete, formwork, reinforcement, etc. Ensure materials meet quality standards and are available on schedule.
• Construction coordination: Plan and oversee the construction and erection of structural elements. Coordinate with construction teams to ensure proper sequencing and safety during implementation.
• Quality Control and Inspection: Monitor construction activities for quality adherence.
• Scheduling and Planning: Monitor progress and coordinate activities to avoid delays.
• Technical Support and Problem Solving: Address technical issues related to structural and civil works during construction. Provide solutions and support to resolve unforeseen problems on-site.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all structural and civil activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations and standards. Promote safety awareness among the construction team.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and technical modifications. Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Liaison and Communication: Act as the main point of contact between design teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders regarding structural and civil works.
