Structural Draftsman Plus Palace General Contracting LLC

Job Overview: The Structural Draftsman at Palace Group is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed structural drawings for luxury villa and high-end construction projects. The role involves close coordination with structural engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local authority regulations, and Palace Group’s premium quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Structural Drafting & Design Support

-Prepare detailed structural drawings including:

-Foundation layouts

-Reinforcement details (rebar drawings)

-Columns, beams, slabs, and staircases

• Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and revisions as required

• Interpret engineering sketches, calculations, and specifications into technical drawings Coordination & Collaboration

• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and MEP teams to ensure design accuracy

• Review architectural drawings and identify structural conflicts or discrepancies

  • Assist in resolving design issues during the drafting stage

    Compliance & Standards

• Ensure all drawings comply with:

• Dubai Municipality regulations

• International standards (ACI, BS, Eurocodes as applicable)

• Maintain Palace Group’s high standards for precision and presentation

Documentation & Revisions

• Maintain proper records of all drawings and revisions

• Update drawings based on engineer comment and site changes

• Ensure timely submission of drawings to meet project deadlines

Site Coordination (if required)

• Coordinate with site engineers for clarification of drawings

• Assist in preparation of as- build drawing based on site conditions
