Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Bridges & Highway Structures to join our team! In this role you will get to advice on all technical matters the Bridges Design Team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Professional experience of +25 years in the design and construction of Bridges and other highways structures.
• Technical leadership and guidance to the bridges design team.
• Mentor the younger team members.
• Attend meetings with the client and provide technical solutions in complex matters.
• Work closely with the Bridges lead to develop procedures and practices to be followed by the team members.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering from a reputable University.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering will be strongly recommended.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• International experience in large scale infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of the construction and design aspects of vehicular viaducts.
• Very good understanding of international codes, such as AASHTO LRFD, & Eurocode.
• Knowledge in software such as Midas Civil, CSi Bridge or similar.
