Reporting to the Assistant Head Receptionist, the responsibilities and essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- To consistently offer a professional, friendly and engaging service;
- To direct and supervise the daily operations of the department and ensure that service standards are met;
- Manage customer issues and react quickly, log and notify the relevant departments;
- Actively participate in the daily meeting, the preparatory meeting for each work period, and department meetings;
- Ensure that receptionists are informed daily of the day's priorities;
- Comply with departmental policies and procedures;
- Comply with all hygiene and safety policies;
- Other tasks, as assigned.
الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory position;
- Proven training skills
- Prior experience using a hotel management system (Opera) is desirable.
- Proactive with a keen attention to detail
- Strong organizational, supervisory, and communication skills
- Capable of conveying information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and choose from various action plans quickly and accurately
- Working effectively in stressful situations
- Listening to, understanding, and effectively clarifying the concerns and questions raised by colleagues and clients
- Ability to perform assigned tasks quickly, accurately, diligently, courteously, with attention to detail and a collaborative spirit; to work effectively under minimal supervision
